Watercolor Kelp

Spiraling on top of the water, kelp forests line the coastline of the Sitka Sound. These forests are massive, spiraling in the shallow, light filled waters. They grow massive under the almost perpetual daylight of the summer. On a sunny day, the golden brown stems contrast beautifully on top of the teal and cerulean waters.
