We Took to the Woods

This journal is a modern reinterpretation of my favorite autumn re-read, ‘We Took to the Woods’ by Louise Dickson Rich. The original book is one of my most cherished possessions. I picked it up seemingly by fate in a second hand shop 10 years ago, and have reread it every year. This is the journal version of her classic memoir about her life in the backwoods of Maine in the 1930’s.
